This is the Dump from September 2022. This was the month that I was pretty burnt out on Bandcamp. I had just finished up the last Jams album and released it at the beginning of the month. I also focused more on Youtube. But moreover, was eager to make my trip back to Darjeeling.
There's very little music on this Dump. The first song was for the Ben Levin-Hugo Moroux Song Challenge, where the prompt was to make music with only 3 instruments. I have a video for/about it on Youtube. The 2nd song was during Hugo's patreon session, where I made music to some lyrics by our dear Witchy (WitchKing99). Also in the bonus content is the lyrics that I wrote for the same session. I don't remember making the third song, but it was probably after I reached home to Darjeeling, because of the title of the project 'Qwerty Power'. I hadn't taken my midi keyboard along, so had to use my Qwerty keyboard to make any music.
There's a lot of photos from both before I went to Darjeeling and after, and some even during the journey. My cousin brother Aditya Darnal had come to visit early on in the month. We did some music (not sure if it will/will not get released). But there's a picture of him holding a bass at least. He might be coming again this week. Then there's lots of food photos. Two which I cooked, the bread-soyabeans-beans-soup, and the chicken curry. One photo of Khali Dosa at my usual south indian restaurant. I've also included the photo I took of their menu. My goal is to eat all them dishes at least once. Then there's lasagna that I ordered online from Swiggy (a food delivery service). It is the first time that I ever tried Lasagna. It was nice, maybe a little over-rated, but not bad. I liked the taste, but not the texture too much.
Then you will see photos of the journey to Darjeeling. You can see the I'm inside the car. I also included some photos that I took when we took food break halfway. Its the ones with my parents who had come to fetch me, the one with me making a funny face and tea gardens in the background, and the one that's just hills. Maybe I should name the photo files from next dump onwards. (but also I don't want to do too much work and get burnt out again.. maybe.. let's see).
Then there's a row of photos that I took the very next morning at dawn before/around sunrise from my verandah & terrace. It was very cloudy day, with clouds under us (Darjeeling is pretty high atop). There's views of our front, as well as the road in front of our home, some shots of the houses behind/above our terrace, some shots of flowers that my mom & auntie have planted, and some water 'toomlets' (carriers). Then finally there's a couple photos from the coming morning, of my mom & sister when they had just woken up, and I was showing them my new camera.
That's it.. That's the September '22 Dump. I will be doing the Dump from November after it has ended so I can collect all the music & the good photos. And I will go even further back from September until I reach the point where it meets the Traffic Jam. Until then Stay Untuned.
