The next step of the challenge (mentioned in the last track) was that we each get assigned a track from someone else and then we have to chop & snip and make something new out of it.

I got a track by Tobyeatsworms, who is an amazing musician. (check out his new EP on bandcamp). His track was called Thanks For The Reminder. And he had some beautiful vocals on it. He was also kind enough to send me the stems. So I decided to use his voice and build around it. I made a weird loop in 4/4 with the line 'Thanks for the reminder'. Then layered his verse over it.

But then I decided to go naughty and went polyrhythmic. I put some guitars, drums and bass in 5/4. And then since I had already gone naughty, I decided to go more naughty. I used something really creaky. I don't even remember what it was. But there were lots of buttons pressed, lots of knobs turned, to give this monstrosity to you.
